I think it’s every woman’s dream to have smooth skin, free from pimples, free from scaring and free from hair. I think the most tedious thing in my daily regime is making sure that I don’t have any hairs around where they shouldnt be. This includes, legs, underarms, chin and yes, even down there ladies.
Besides the obvious of plucking out the hairs on the chin (and trust me, they will appear eventually young ones) and on my eyebrows, I have always resorted to shaving because lets face it, it’s just the easiest thing to do once you’re in the shower or bath but a few months ago I reached a point where I just got so fed up of having to shave every other day that I went online and bought myself a wax pot. Great. Or so I thought.
Firstly, can we talk about the pain that comes with waxing yourself? Also, its messy as hell and incredibly time-consuming so after a couple of uses I reached another point where I just couldn’t be bothered and went back to shaving but then a magical little thing appeared in my life – an epilator.
It’s this little torture device that has like 20 or 40 (depending on the make) tweezers that rotate around and literally yank out every single hair you have. Sounds painful right? It is! BUT, it works. And I can honestly handle the pain that it brings because it takes literally 5 minutes to do my underarms and legs and then its a mere little weekly upkeep to make sure that any new growing hairs are yanked out before they start becoming a pain in the ass.
I have yet to try it down south and I probably never will but it’s definitely something you could look at doing, you know, if you were into the whole Christian Grey thing. 😀
I will be doing a full review on the epilator soon so keep an eye out on the blog!
