Yes, I am going to be one of those people who blog about how absolutely freaking cold it is right now but at the same time I need to remind myself that I am in London, of course its bloody cold!
I walked to the station on Monday morning and after arriving at the station (a good 15 minutes walk from the house) I honestly couldn’t feel my face. And not because I was drunk or on drugs like most people who can’t feel their face are – it’s just because it was THAT cold.
There was ice on the cars and all I wanted to do was take a picture and call it ‘Revenge of the Twilight Cars’ you know, because Sparkly Twilight Vampires and all that but that would have meant removing my hands from my gloves and that was just out of the question.
Besides the cold, things have been good. Great even. Life is incredibly busy at work and at home. Jensen is learning (and quite possibly failing) math at school. He just doesn’t seem to be getting the multiplication thing which isn’t really surprising because to date, I still use a calculator to calculate 3 x 6. It really isn’t my strong suit either.
Jensen has also started doing dance class and is learning all different style of dance – I am hoping that it will give him some coordination because I have seen him trying to get down to some music before and trust me when I say that he gives the true definition to white men can’t dance. Lets keep our fingers crossed on this one.
Oh, and did I mention I will be back in Cape Town in August for 3-4 weeks? I can’t wait!
